Itty Bitty
July 19, 2008
Even though we are both away, we wanted to sneak a show in, even if it is an itty-bitty show. While this episode is short and not worthy of it’s own number, it does not take away from the great music. We feature two great bands that we’ve played before, in fact…we saw them play together last Summer in Fells Point where we scored tonights intro and interview.
Girls Like Cigarettes: Combustible You from the Beautiful Death Machines EP. Catch them live on Friday, July 25 @ Rams Head Live. Buy some GLC MERCH.
The Thrives: Fall Right Down from the All Rockets EP.
Not much else to say…talk at you soon.

FLASHBACK: The J Roddy Interview
July 7, 2008
Wow…so how long has it been?? Really…six months with no new content? WTF? What can I say, we’ve been busy? Yeah, let’s go with busy.
The GOOD news is that NEW CONTENT IS COMING SOON…really it is. As soon as next week.
The BETTER news, we’ve never stopped receiving submissions, thus we have a ton of music to get out there. Sadly, I will not be able to live up to the promises I’ve made that “we’ll get you on the next show”…at this point, the show would be 2-3 hours long, we won’t do that to you….yet.
The BEST news, is that in cruising the web today after work, doing my usual routine of catching up on blogs, music, sports, news, etc…I cruised by one of my favorite blogs, Fuel Friends (I can’t tell you how many people I have directed to this site). In this week’s Monday Music Roundup , a feature I look forward to beginning Tuesday the prior week, Heather mentions one of our IR Baltimore favorites, J Roddy Walston & The Business. This got me thinking of the evening we spent with the band last year (or was it 2 years ago, my God time flies) and what a blast we had interviewing them….so why not post it again for the world to hear. The interview runs about 53 minutes and feature 5 or 6 tracks from their recent release, Hail Megaboys, and a couple other tasty little ditties. So enjoy this blast from the past and get ready for some new shows in the next week or so.

Return of the Mixtape
February 29, 2008
Greetings one and all. As Jason works feverishly to get Insomnia Radio back to full speed, I could not help but feel the need to get SOMETHING published on the new site. While not “new“, chances are you have not heard it…lately. Originally put together way back in the Fall of 2006, enjoy the Insomnia Radio Baltimore Mix Tape #2. Don and I will return shortly with new shows, I promise.
All the best,
Tim
IR Baltimore #24: Not Work Safe Christmas
December 20, 2007
WARNING: NOT WORKSAFE | RUNNING TIME: 52:27
Funny having to put a disclaimer in the front of a Holiday Show, but such is life. I tried my best to coax Don into the Holiday Spirit. Judge for yourself if I was successful. We have all kinds of music on the show tonight, from the traditional, the not-so-traditional, and the not even remotely traditional Christmas Music.
